Decorating in progress!

First off, thank you so much for all your suggestions. They were hugely helpful, so much so that I’ve made some major progress. Bedding has been purchased! I decided to go with a solid colored quilt with fun sheets, all purchased from Target. And because this bed will not only be slept in, but also inevitably peed and puked in (she’s 2, it’s bound to happen), I bought waterproof linings for the mattresses and pillows, too.

Here’s the components of Adeline’s new, big girl room thus far:

The rug from Ikea, which the decor is centered around.

A plain, yet happy quilt from Target. I’m planning on finding a cute throw blanket to put at the foot of the bed.

Polka dot sheets. These pick up the art work (below) that’s been hanging in Addy’s room since birth.

We have three prints like this in varying colors. We found them on etsy.com by an artist named Tom McCracken.

What do you guys think? Am I on the right track? I’m hoping to get the bedding washed and installed this weekend and then I’ll slowly start sneaking the artwork into the new room. It feel  good to be getting this done! Thanks again for all your help, especially to Rebecca, who even did some online shopping for me and sent me several great links!
