37 weeks pregnant and not wearing pajamas

I made the choice to hesitate for a split second before I ripped my work clothing off in exchange for pajamas just so I could snap a photo of myself in something besides p-jamas, as Addy calls them. And now, as I type this, I am happily adorned in flannel doughnuts.

I should have cropped out all the crap behind me, but I’m tired and figured you guys have seen my house in worse shape.

Updates:

1) We still do not have a name picked out for this kid. Us = most irresponsible parents ever.

2) Still working on potty training Miss Adeline. She does great when we let her run around naked, but not so much when we try underwear or pull ups. We’ll keep working at it.

3) Addy is still sleeping in her crib. I ordered special guard rails for her big girl bed and they are taking an eternity to arrive. Once they’re installed, it’s full steam ahead…unless she really hates it. Then we’ll devise a Plan B. Tonight, I asked her if her baby brother could sleep in her room when he arrives, and she immediately said no, explaining that Baby Brother can sleep in her new room and she’ll sleep in the crib. Which means Plan B will most likely become The Actual Plan.

4) Addy started attending a real, live daycare center! She goes for 4 hours, two mornings a week. It’s been hard on all of us, though she’s doing great 2 weeks into it. Much more to come on this.

I’m feeling okay. Pressure, pressure, pressure! Will feel much better once we have the infant car seat installed in my car and a bag packed for the hospital. And a name for our child.
