I don’t know them, but I like them
Since you read this blog, I assume you read other blogs, too. I’ve got a few more to add to your list.
Besides the blogs of my friends that comment here (Stacy, Rebecca, Susie, Robin, Kelly J.R.), there are 3 blogs that I look forward to reading each and every day because they always make me feel good. They’re like my morning cup of coffee…or rather, my favorite way to start the day while desperately trying to wake up before plunging into work.
Girl’s Gone Child
By Rebecca Woolf, a woman who is younger than I am, but has her shit way more together. She’s a mom to 2 amazing kids and just learned a third is on the way. She’s a truly wonderful writer with insight on food, music, clothing, parenting…you name it. I love to settle into her perspective on things and each time, I hope to absorb a bit of her coolness.
Dear Baby
Written by Melissa, who is married to a musician/stay-at-home dad to adorable baby girl Everly. Coincidentally, Melissa is also expecting – a baby boy named Arlo. I love her great photos and baby finds and posts that always seem to be filled with love. So often, she captures the words that are in my heart for my sweet Adeline. I’m also in awe of her knack for looking amazing, pregnant or not.
Harpers Happenings
Mandy makes me laugh and lends a lightheartedness to all of her posts. She’s a stay-at-home mom to adorable Harper, but is also quite the entrepreneur, starting her own on-line vintage shopping site called Opal. Plus, she keeps fashionable moms everywhere inspired with her Steppin’ Out Saturday posts. I always leave her blog smiling or thinking, “Hellz yeah!”
So, I guess there’s a bit of a theme to these here blogs I love – they’re moms (as am I), they each rock their own style and encourage us to join in (someday, I will attempt style!), they’re grounded and inspire me in different ways. But, if you take a peek through their posts, you’ll see each woman/family is completely different from the other. But, I like to think that if we all sat down together or had one huge play date, we’d get along.
