The first of many steps
Addy took her very first steps on Wednesday, just a few days shy of her 10-month birthday. They weren’t tentative at all, but little about her is.
Of course, we spent the rest of the night trying to coax her into doing it again so we could get it on tape, and with several tries, and one hilarious tumble, we got it. Our little girl can walk (kind of)!
Of course, this momentous occasion, one that is on film and the Internet forever, had to occur when I was in my pajamas, with my bra straps hanging out. Thank god I at least had a bra on.
First, an outtake, where instead of walking, Addy flops headfirst into the ottoman (it’s soft) with her face, bounces off it and lands on the floor. Poor girl.
