The only somewhat extreme makeover

You know how some days you look in the mirror and decide you need a new haircut? A new look to break up the monotony of your appearance?

Well, I had one of those days, and while I do need a new haircut, I decided to makeover my blog instead. It’s looked the same for years and I wanted to protect it from the pain I endured when I was voted “Least Changed” in high school, in which my freshman year photo was printed besides my senior year photo and they looked identical. And then I went to my 10-year high school reunion and listened to everyone exclaim, “You still look exactly the same!” What can I say? No matter how much I’ve tried to change my hairstyle—from bangs, to curls, to short to long-it always returns to the same style.

Once I got my new masthead, I, of course, had to coordinate the colors of my fonts with it. So the carpet would match the drapes, so to speak. Hope you like it!

Since I’ve just now processed that I have the same haircut I had as a 15-year-old, I’m off to call the salon. Or shave my head, because that worked so well for Brittney Spears.
