I made the mistake of leaving my purse sitting vulnerable on the floor yesterday, and then made the even bigger mistake of blinking, which gave Adeline enough time to crawl over and ransack it.

She’ll kick herself when she’s older, knowing she bypassed all my credit cards for breath mints and gum. But when you’ve got that nasty formula aftertaste stuck in your mouth, you gotta do something to get rid of it.
