Who Wants a Free Rug?

Cause I’ve got a new, handmade, eco-friendly rug to give away!  The people over at CSNRugs, makers of fabulous area rugs and more, graciously offered to give away a free rug to one of you guys and I opted for this one, the Prairie Rug in brick (a.k.a cranberry), which is 3′ X 5′ in size.  Here’s a close up look at it:

Here’s some info about it:

Hand woven in India by village artisans, this Prairie Rug in brick is made from recycled cotton and low-impact dye. These are just two of the many Eco-Friendly characteristics which make up the line of Prairie Rugs. With 30% more warp than other rugs, Prairie Rugs are made with a tighter weave providing for a heavier weight so that your rug will lay flat without bunching. Founding members of the Sustainable Furniture Council, Prairie Rugs has introduced the newest trend around by “Going Green.” Using no electricity to make, and using residual water to dye, Prairie Rugs are riding the “eco-wave” and starting out 2008 the right way!
Prairie Rugs are the world’s finest cotton area rugs. They are hand-woven in India exclusively for Prairie Rugs Inc. by village artisans. The hand loom process means that each rug will have a slight variation; this is the charm of this handicraft. All finished products are subject to total quality control to ensure integrity and longevity.

Reasons Why This Rug is Awesome:
1) It’s free.  Even the shipping.
2) It’s good for the environment.
3) Because it’s handmade on a loom, it’s one-of-a-kind.
4) It helps support skilled artisans.
5) Numbers 2-4 make you look like a very environmentally- and globally-conscious person.
6) This size rug is great in bathrooms, by the bed, in a mudroom, in a foyer or in the kitchen.
7) Every time you look at the rug, you can think of me!
8) It’s unique and high in quality – just like you!
9) If you don’t want it, one of your friends might.  Better try to win it for them.
10) It’s FREE!
Just post a comment, I’ll pick a winner at random and announce the lucky person on Wednesday.  If you would like to try to bribe me, my most favorite food in the world is cheese.  However, I must tell you that although I will eat your cheese offering, it will not sway my commitment to a fair rug drawing.
Thanks to CSNRugs – without them there would be no free rug to win or bounty of cheese for me to eat.

See? I still read your blog. And since I've been far too busy to work on my unending house renovation project lately, I could wrap myself up in it when I sleep on the street corner….
