A Constructed Life

So I Guess I’m Weird

My friend Susie, from Susie’s Homemade, tagged me with this, so now I’ll share 7 weird/random things about myself that you don’t already know.

1) I have a motorcycle license, as do my dad, mom and sister. We actually started our own motorcycle gang and are often compared to Hell’s Angels. Not really, but my dad did insist that all three of his women learn to ride motorcycles. I’ll ride on the back of his, but haven’t been on my own since the day I got my license.

2) I played the violin for 6 years.

3) I had a mullet from 3rd grade to 5th grade. I even permed it for a couple years.

4) The first three concerts I went to were The Monkey’s, Vanilla Ice and Nelson. I’ve always had eclectic taste is music (at least that’s what I call it. You might call it “bad,” but I prefer “eclectic”). The mullet was there for The Monkey’s and huge 80s bangs made it to the other two.

5) My family is uber-Scottish. I took Scottish dancing lessons, enjoy haggis and can sing along with more than a few traditional Scottish songs (Wee Dochin Doris holds a very special place in our hearts. It’s the song my great-grandpa sang at every Scottish community get-together).

6) When I was little, I would paint along with Bob Ross on the television show, The Joy of Painting. I was very good at making “happy little clouds.”

7) I still have the blanket (my grandma made it for me) and stuffed animal (The Velveteen Rabbit) that comforted me throughout my childhood. They had a spot on my bed until I had to share it with Joey. For some reason, he felt uncomfortable curling up with them.

I now tag…
You! That’s right…if you read this, you’re it! Let me know if you do this and I’ll put a link to your sight here.
