Drama Queen?

Today, as I looked over the search terms that brought people to this blog, I found a disturbing one.

“emotional crying breakdown”

Hmmm.

I guess I can understand, what with the drama-filled Days of Our Drywall post and the nervous breakdown I had over our shower…and my tendency to be ever so slightly melodramatic.

But still, I’d prefer “awesome home remodeler” or “groovy couple fixes their house” as descriptors of my blog instead of ones like “crazy emotional chick writes about the shack she lives in.”

Perhaps it’s time for a more upbeat, cheerful post. I’ll work on that. I promise.

But for now, since this blog is the place to come for “emotional crying breakdowns,” I’m going to crawl into the corner, ball my eyes out, pluck out every one of my hairs by hand and scream “Stop the insanity,” (a la Susan Powter) until I collapse into a limp, exhausted heap on the tear-soaked carpeting of my office.

Because you know her from earlier posts, I have to call your attention to the comment Cheri, my officemate made in response to this post:

“Again?!?! I’m so sick of walking into our office and seeing you in a crying heap on the floor. People are starting to talk. Well, me mostly. I’m talking. “
