A Constructed Life

A Constructed Life: The Movie

The following post should be read with the deep and ominous voice of Don LaFontaine, the guy who does all the voiceovers in movie trailers.

In a world where houses must be destroyed and rebuilt…

… two young home remodelers stand alone in their fight to survive the greatest battle of their lives.

As darkness descends and hope becomes scarce, a team of everyday citizens join the crusade to transform this desolate land.

Meet, Remberg, a man unafraid of drywall and demolition…

…his brother, Brian, who contorts his body to accomplish extraodinary tasks of home remodeling…

…while keeping his true identity a secret.

And Joe, a father bound by his love for family and desire to see his son succeed…

…the dynamic duo, David and Gail, parents who are determined to tame a land of uninsulated walls.

And introducing Brad, or B-rad, a man who could not ignore his destiny as destroyer of subpar plaster walls…

…Uncle Dan and Aunt Debbie, who descend in times of plight and reign victorious over the crappiest of all work…

And finally, Jinny, a mother committed to feeding this army of crazed superheroes as they battle their way through home remodeling’s worst nightmares.

This is our army of helpers – the friends and family members who leave their own projects behind to help us finish ours. My eyes were filled with tears the day I took these pictures because I couldn’t believe all the people that turned out to help us with some really horrible projects. We are so lucky to have these people in our lives and are so grateful for their help, guidance and support. To us, they really are superheroes. And they just prove that home remodeling is best done with help from others.

Mom, dad, Jinny, Joe, Remberg, Brian, Brad, Dan and Debbie, thank you so much for your help through that god-awful weekend. Joey and I would’ve given up a long time ago if it wasn’t for you guys.

I didn’t get a chance to comment on this when I first read it (it’s been one of those months already) but damn! HILARIOUS.

Love the Batmanesque 3-D words and meeting the cast of characters.
