And then extreme holiday cuteness ensued
Holiday Cuteness #1: The snack I made for the kids in Addy’s class at school. Chocolate dipped marshmallow pops with sprinkles. I even went the extra step and packaged them individually with little bows. I felt very June Cleveresque after making them. And slightly embarrassed by my thinly veiled efforts to impress a bunch of 2-year-olds on my daughter’s behalf.
.
Holiday Cuteness #2: My daughter in her holiday finery. This is currently her favorite expression to make when she allows the paparazzi to approach.
.
Holiday Cuteness #3: Grandpas doting on their grandkids.
.
.
Holiday Cuteness #4: Impromptu kitchen safaris.
.
Holiday Cuteness #5: Bedhead, pajamas, glowing lights and watching your child tear open presents.
.
Holiday Cuteness #6: Watching the same girl display extreme restraint when passing out gifts to everyone around her, not once whining or trying to open them herself.
.
Holiday Cuteness #7: Those cheeks! Those eyes! That hair! Celebrating my baby boy’s first Christmas.
.
Holiday Cuteness #8: Even though he slept through almost all of the festivities.
It was a magical, wonderful holiday loaded with family, blessings and love. Hope yours was the same.
- And then I begrudgingly stopped trying to control Christmas traditions
- From my home (computer) to yours
