I have been haunted by the same hairstyle since 1994
Let me prove this.
.
Here I am at age 15, my freshman year of high school.
.
Here I am at 18, my senior year of high school, when I was voted Least Changed.
.
And here I am at age 31 in 2009, after going to college, getting married and having a baby.
.
And here I am with my life-but-apparently-not-hairstyle-changing baby last summer.
.
See? The same haircut for half of my lifetime. I have a hair appointment in 3 weeks. Do I chop it off? Change it dramatically? Leave it the same for another decade?
- Something I did right as a new mom
- Kindred spirits in anti-horrorness
Why mess with a good thing.
Haunted? I would say blessed! But if you want a change, I can see you in something short and sassy:-)
I like your hair! Maybe bangs? Shorter bob? I would ask the hairstylist for his/her best opinion and let them go with it!
My hair is finally growing after having a baby-it grew 1/2 inch while I was pregnant and it was too short for my liking. I think bangs would be a nice change-its only hair it will grow back…
Maybe the Sinéad O’Connor look?
You have great hair, though. You have a great face shape, though. I could see you working the bob.
As always, thank you for the help! I’ll bring your suggestions (except for Mel’s Sinead O’Connor idea) to the hairdresser and will post a picture of the results in a few weeks!
I seem to remember your pre-high school hairstyle to be very mullet-like. Maybe go back to that?
PS Can’t wait to see you later this month.
PPS With a mullet.
Ky!!! We can’t wait to see you! But Addy will be the only one with a mullet. And I’m totally serious. I’m a cruel Mom like that. The kid is rockin’ a serious business-in-the-front-party-in-the-back look.
LIZ! I’ve been having the same debate the past few weeks myself! Let me know what you do-maybe it will inspire me to do something else!!! 🙂
