A Constructed Life

The eleventh month

I have a little photo shoot with Addy every month in an attempt to capture how she’s rapidly changing and growing. The only thing constant about them is the setting, the guest bedroom, and the stuffed animals she’s photoed with.

These photo shoots have become increasingly interesting since she became mobile. During this one, I spent most of my time trying to block her from belly-flopping off the bed to the floor.

I can’t believe this little girl, now a toddler, used to be my tiny baby, the unknown being that I carried in my belly for nine months.

Everyone said “It will go by so fast,” but fast doesn’t even begin to describe it.
