Every town has its loonies and these news clips (thanks for sharing them, John) highlight a few extra special residents from the Big Cities near my Little City. These are the people representing my home, which I consider to be the greater Milwaukee area. No wonder people in movies always make fun of us.

Milwaukee: Famous for its beer, brats and coining the term “skank agent.”

Mayfair patron pushed, sprayed with mace

A 26-year-old Florida woman was sprayed in the face with mace at Mayfair Mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 3:55 p.m. Thursday.

According to the Wauwatosa police report:
The woman said she was leaving the store Rave when she commented to her friend how cold she was, and that she is always cold here because she from Florida. When she made the statement, a man and woman were entering the store.

The man turned around and said he had heard what she said about the woman he was with. She responded that she wasn’t directing her statement to anyone but her friend.

Then the woman pushed her, and the Florida woman realized the woman was a man wearing a dress. She, her friend and her friend’s 2-year-old daughter tried walking away, but the man wearing men’s clothing sprayed her in the face with mace.

Milwaukee: It’s confusing.
