The Hot Stuff is Really Quite Cold

Due to an unexpected plumbing emergency that superseded the significance of our home not turning into an icicle, Rick, the greatest plumber in the world, could not make it to our house yesterday to hook up our radiators. Therefore, the “hot stuff” I so gleefully anticipated has eluded us for another night.

As you can see here, our foyer radiator (freshly painted) remains unattached to the pipes that would allow said “hot stuff” to flow forth. It’s yearning to become one with those pipes – I can sense it.

Here’s the mini-radiator Rick found for the new master bathroom. See the tubes on either side of it? That would suggest they are not attached. Which further suggests that the tiles on the floor remain as cold as the Arctic tundra.

Thankfully, Sir Holmes the Hottie forgave me for so quickly brushing him aside and agreed to curl up with Joey and me for one more night.
He’s the only hot stuff we got.

Rick assured me he would be at our house first thing this morning to hook up the radiators. And I believe him. After all, he is the greatest plumber in the world.

Crossing fingers that “the hot stuff” arrives tonight! Our furnace popped on this morning (only the second time this week) and I won’t tell you what it’s set on for fear that you might wish to smite me.
But as a reminder, the mother is 65+ so I have to deal with hot and cold issues more than the average human.
